Hi Vitor. ;)
Nice bike .... but ... you must change front brake caliper. ;)
Honda-Razzo.
Hello again!
thanks for the welcome!
I know.. I must buy a 4POT caliper... I've already bought a brembo 19x20 master cylinder (maybe its too much, but i couldnt find a 16x18), now I'm looking for the caliper..
Maybe someone has one for sale?! ;D
I also need to change that front headlights and the air filter side panel...
In portugal we dont have any forum like this... :-\
ciao a tutti, buona sera 8)
Hello Vitor!!
BEWARE!! This website is full of XR tuning addicts!! but as I can see you're fully already on that way too hehehe
very nice bike and a wonderful place!
but.... your licence plate is readable only by helicopters!!! :D
I forgot:
one mod you can do is eliminate the original speedmeter and put a smaller mountainbike computer, doing so you can fix the front light closer to the forks ;)
Buon viaggio e buon divertimento.......................................
Sorry AlwaysWot, Im joking. :D
Pleased to meet you and welcome aboard, I wish you a pleasant stay here in XR-Italia. :ok:
P.S. Mmmmhhh, I have seen you already in another place.....................TT? ::)
Ciao
Piero ;)
Hello Alwaywot
(I guess the "wot" on your nick represents your real attitude. Right?)
first of all I'm sorry for having your first message relocated on this proper section.
In fact here is the right place where all new "entries" start introducing briefly theirselves.
So if you have time please let's know something more about you, your bike skill and experiences, etc.
Your 650 looks really nice. Congratulations !
I hope you'll like to keep in touch with this group of enthusiasts interacting with us on the tech and non-tech various topics that daily arise around our common Honda XR passion. :-*
Regards and welcome again :)

Yes, is too much, in the past Ive mounted one of those master cylinders, it was too hard to pull the brake lever.
Now I have a "conventional" radial Brembo 16x18, that is better for a single front rotor.

You MUST change the front headlight.........::)
:D :D :D
You can try with an original XR headlight, for example that the XR 400 mounts......

It should be alwaysWot, but by mistake I forgot the S :D
Always wide open throttle, i think my accelerator only has two positions: on and off :P
I'm sorry I have posted on the wrong section... thanks for the help!!
A little bit about myself, I'm 24yo and I'm an telecommunications engineer, but I'm working in a consulting firm.
I had few bikes: motalli gira http://www.motorizadas50.com/motali_gira.jpg (http://www.motorizadas50.com/motali_gira.jpg) (this isnt my bike, mine is white), I had this bike when I was 12-13yo, I did a lot of bad thing to her, I even did enduro trails with a friend who had a pw80 back in the day!!
Some years later, If bought a KTM 50SX, great bike, very good suspension for its class, but a week motor..
After that I didnt ride any bike for a few years, then I've bought my first "real" bike, it was a suzuki DR650SE, i've also modded it, exhaust, headers, carburetor, suspensions... had it for 3 years and sold it to buy the XR!!
And this is my story, at least what I can remember!
Has I sad before, I've study in italia for 6 months, in 2003!
And I really love your country!
I was in padova, anyone from padova??
Regards

Antarctica wrote: the present topic "Presentazione nuovi arrivati" is just dedicated to personal introduction of new xr-friends. For any technical question please refer to the other site sections.
If (for instance) you'd like to get an advice on a specific supermotard part like a brake pump, you're kindly recommended to OPEN a new thread on "XR650R Supermotard".
It'd be easier for you to get immediately people new advices and also it gives easier any further search.
welcome to our new portoguese friend!! :)
Congratulation for your BRP!
